The Snap Seal vial has a patented neck design that simplifies vial and cap selections, and assures reliable use with autosamplers and robotic arms. It is compatible with most autosamplers that use a 12 x 32 mm crimp style vial, including Agilent, CTC, Finnegan, Perkins Elmer, Varian, Waters Alliance, and other.
Snap Seal vials have more glass in the neck area than a Snap Ring vial, minimizing breakage during the decapping procedure. The neck design also provides for a tight seal using any liner thickness.
The Snap Seal vial incorporates a Step Vial design inside the vial neck that allows precise centering of limited volume inserts in the vial, another plus for automated system use. The wide mouth opening is 40% larger than standard crimp style vials. This larger opening provides a larger target area for needle penetration and helps prevent bent needles.
