The kit uses alpha(2->3,6,8,9) neuraminidase to cleave all NANA l Contains all reagents to quantitate the amount of N-acetylneuraminic acid, either free, or in glycoproteins, cell surface glycoproteins, polysialic acids and capsular polysaccharides (consisting only of polysialic acid).
